The Northern Ireland Law Commission held its 2nd Annual Conference on 30th September 2010 in the Inn of Court, Royal Courts of Justice, Belfast. Speakers included The Right Honourable Sir Declan Morgan, Lord Chief Justice, The Honourable Mr Justice McCloskey, Chairman of the Northern Ireland Law Commission, The Honourable Mrs Justice Catherine McGuinness, President of the Law Reform Commission (Ireland) and Professor Sean Doran, Barrister and Commissioner, Northern Ireland Law Commission.
The conference, which was attended by approximately 70 delegates, also marked the launch of the Commission’s 7th Consultation Paper, ‘Bail in Criminal Proceedings’.
